Who funds it?

Historically the CDF has been run on the money raised through membership fees and through events. However, to be able to remove the membership fees and open the CDF up for all designers we needed to acquire funds to help. The CDF would like to say a huge thank you to the Design Programme and the Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE) for supporting the CDF and giving us the finances to move forward and put our new plans in place.

We are also in constant gratitude to the hard work and support from the South West Design Forum, University Falmouth Cornwall as well as the lovely people at Creative Skills and Cornwall Council.

Our directory is very new and we hope that it helps to promote your work. We have set the cost at £100 for the first year and we will review this after 12 months. The Cornwall Design Forum is a registered charity and all money raised from directory fees goes back into improving the website, running events and helping promote design and designers throughout Cornwall.
